Startup Expands to Downtown Boston

Startup Expands to Downtown Boston

Adding to the growing concentration of startup companies expanding to Boston, Nasuni Corporation is opening up a second office in the Hub. Currently headquartered in Natick, Nasuni’s new sales and marketing office at 101 Arch Street is expected to open as early as July 1st.

Nasuni is a storage vendor known for introducing Storage Infrastructure-as-a Service (SIaaS), a unified data storage solution that allows clients to access and manage data efficiently with minimal risk of data loss. The new office space is estimated between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet, and will be able to hold up to 20 people.

One of the Boston area’s most promising startups, Nasuni raised $20 million in Series C funding last October. While they already have a strong engineering and field sales team, Nasuni hopes to recruit more talent with their new downtown office. According to Marketing Director Connor Fee, this new climate will bring about a group of people that will push Nasuni to the next level.

The abundance of venture firms and startups in Boston places Nasuni in an environment which it can expand and thrive. It also helps that there is a wealth of talent in the surrounding area, with the local presence of top academic institutions such as MIT, Harvard, and Tufts.
