- Four calling birds: $519.96 (No change from 2011)
- Five gold rings: $750.00 (Up from $645.00 in 2011)
- Six geese-a-laying: $210.00 (Up from $162.00)
- Seven swans-a-swimming: $7,000.00 (Up from $6,300.00 in 2011)
- Eight maids-a-milking: $58.00 (No change from 2011)
- Nine ladies dancing: $6,294.03 (No change from 2011)
- Ten lords-a-leaping: $4,766.60 (No change from 2011)
- Eleven pipers piping: $2,562.00 (Up from 2,427.60 in 2011)
- Twelve drummers drumming: $2,775.50 (Up from $2,629.90 in 2011)
Based on the gifts in the holiday classic, “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” the cost of Christmas for the PNC CPI is $25,431.18 in 2012, a 4.8% increase from 2011.
