Encore Boston Harbor to open casual, Italian-style eatery

Two veteran restaurateurs in the North End, Frank DePasquale and Nick Varano, are joining for a second eatery at Encore Boston Harbor.

The Varano Group owns and operates Strega North End, Rina’s and Nico. DePasquale Ventures owns and operates Bricco Ristorante, Mare Oyster Bar, AquaPazza, Quattro, Assaggio, Trattoria Il Panino, Bricco Salumeria & Pasta Shop, Dolce Gelateria and Bricco Panetteria.

A Shake Shack burger joint will also be part of the WynnBET Sports Bar.
