After the closing of Jp Licks ice cream on Newbury Street, the ice cream shop has announced they will be returning to a new location in the Back Bay!

The new location is the former “Looney Tunes” record store on Boylston Street, near Berklee School of Music. Looney Tunes has moved to Allston, and joined forces with Store 54 on Harvard Ave.
The Newbury Street location was open for nearly 20 years, but closed this past March when the lease was up. The owner, Vince Petryk has been scoping out spots for the new scoop shop ever since.
There are other locations of Jp Licks in Coolidge Corner, Davis Square, Harvard Square and of course Jamaica Plain. This homemade ice cream shop is said to open next year.
