A new Whole Foods will be opening in Brookline on Thursday in the space that was once Johnnie’s Fresh Market.
The new market will be the 22nd store to open in Massachusetts and it will be the smallest. Customers will still have the signature in-store experience, but the venue will only be 8,000 square feet and will have 75 employees.
“The Brookline store will hold a “bread-breaking” event open to the public this Thursday at 8 a.m. The store will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.”
Also, the former employees of Johnnie’s will be interviewed for positions at the new market.
